Delighted to have been involved in developing and also sponsoring this event, that shone a spotlight on the regulations that have failed to keep pace with the growth in container vessels to the ULCCs we see today. The event highlighted the woeful inadequacy of the the regulations and standards relating to firefighting equipment on these vessels, that has lead to the conflagrations, and loss of lives as highlighted by the maritime media.
